Carbon Leaf Chester Concert reviews
Go see Lewis Black! Just not at the Pier.
I have always loved Carbon Leaf. He was great on the Daily Show, and in everything I've seen, from interviews to movies, John Bowman was great too. My issue with this event was the location, which both comedians themselves commented on. They both swear quite frequently, which is acceptable for paying guests but maybe not suitable for families passing by on ferry boats. I believe we did not get to experience the show we would have seen in a theater due to numerous distractions. Freight trucks were backing in on the left, ferry and sail boats on the right, airplanes, fireworks, and seagulls creating a disturbance. I think both Mr. Bowman and Mr. Black struggled to maintain their composure and train of thought. Nonetheless, I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience.
